This Aspen Institute report examines how the One Big Beautiful Bill Act will hit young adults ages 18 to 24 particularly hard, layering new work requirements and eligibility restrictions on top of a system already poorly designed for their realities. With an estimated 700,000 young adults at risk of losing SNAP benefits monthly, the report pairs that diagnosis with concrete strategies for states, community organizations, and funders to keep eligible young people from losing coverage they still qualify for.
